I have a $1million watch' - Oba Obateru Akinruntan

I also hear the car he uses is the same type the Queen of England owns.
Billionaire Oba Obateru Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugboland in Ondo and chairman of Obat Oil spoke recently of his love for the good things of life and how he loves to be the first in acquiring these things. In a recent interview with City People, the Oba described himself as a stylish king

"First and foremost I am very creative and secondly, I emulate the style of our forefathers, wearing royal beads as an old style. You know these days, if you want to become a popular and flamboyant king, you have to use diamonds. Diamond chains, diamond wrist watches, diamond shoes, diamond ring and my muffler is also made of diamond or gold. And that will make you unique among other Obas and that doesn't make you proud. I like to be the first in everything. I have the largest oil tank in West Africa today. Again my chain of cars, I use the same type of automobile with the Queen of England, Queen Elizerbeth, we use the same Rolls Royce and Bentley. Asides that, I have 7 door limousine Mercedes, I want to be the first in everything.
The Oba who has an aquarium wristwatch that is worth $500,00 spoke of his wristwatch collections
"I also have a wrist watch that cost $1 million. Aside that I am a car freak and what I wear with the way I dress, my shoe, my royal diamond cap, wrist watches, diamond ring, and my diamond Mofila is the new thing I have added to it now. I do my shopping in London Jeweller, a special store for top ranking personalities of the world. I wear expensive wrist watches, shoes and chains all made of diamond". he told City People

There's another report that says st pauls college did not speak with SR. with that being said, it was however still clear that the  institution does not offer a masters programme  and the certificates are very unreal. the report below

Following the allegation of certificate forgery against Nigeria Minister of Aviation, Ms Stella Oduah, a Nigeria group called Nigerian Liberation Movement (NLM) has revealed that Sahara Reporters, an online media deceived the public on their purported conversation with Saint Pauls
College President, Mr Peter Stith.
The NLM engaged the services of a private investigator based in the United States to help demystify the alleged scandal. They also investigated the certificate forgery of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Lagos State governor.
In a statement released to elombah.com, NLM stated Mr Peter denied ever speaking with Sahara Reporters and telling them that Oduah never attended the college.
According to the NLM President, the Registrar said that Sahara Reporters would need a court subpoena to enable them release such information to them, and since none of such court order was given, they also did not divulge any information.
The University was accredited by the Commission of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award Baccalaureate degrees but they lost the accreditation on June 21, 2012.
These were the numbers used in contacting the following people who proved Sahara Reporters story wrong.
Commission of Southern Association of Colleges and Schools: +1 404-679-4501
The President of Saint Pauls College: (+1) 434-848-3111.
The registrar of Saint Pauls College: (+1) 434-848-1800
Meanwhile NLM also stated that the Registrar of Chicago State University was frustrated that another inquiry is coming on the case of Bola Tinubu stating that they already sent a report to one Gani Fawehinmi in the past and we should refer to him. Any further information from them they noted would require a court subpoena.

How To Manage Your Finances As A Student

This will help you alot.

1. Have a Monthly Budget

This is very important in managing your finances. If you set yourself an allocated amount to spend each month, then you will be able to track how much you are spending per year. This will help you to plan how much money you need to live and will enable you to find out if you can keep to this monthly budget. The best part is that if you under spend per month than your fixed budget allows you to, then you will be saving money for you to use elsewhere!

2. Keep Emergency money

Having Emergency money is a highly rated tip which we recommend. It’s always good to have emergency cash which is not part of your budget. This way, if you ever have any issues or emergency situations, then you have that allocated amount to help you through your situation. On the other hand, you would be saving this allocated amount if you don’t spend it!

3. Have a Student Bank Account

Student bank accounts are a great way of managing your student finances. Your overdraft is there to help you manage how much extra money you may need in an emergency situation. The actual account is great to see how much you are spending as you can go into your bank to get a statement of how much you have spent. From this statement, you can see if you are spending too much money.

4. Write Down Your Costs

Writing down your costs is a great way of tracking your finances. Simply writing down how much you have spent will enable you to work out if you are spending too much money.

5. Review Your Bank Statements

Reviewing your bank statements every week will enable you to work out how much you are spending per month. This then allows you to decide on whether you want to increase your spending or whether you want to decrease your spending. Either way, this will help you manage your finances properly.

14 Things Every Successful Person Has In Common

I was reading through the internet and I stumbled upon this article on successful people so I thought it wise to post it on my blog since we'all wanna be successful.

1. They know when to stay and when to leave.

Successful people know exactly when they should
change employers, start a company or fold their
company. They have good intuition and aren’t
afraid to make hard choices, despite opposing
forces.

2. They do more than what’s asked of them.

They view their job descriptions as just the
beginning of what they can do with their job.
After they’ve completed their mandatory tasks,
they will always ask to take on more projects that
challenge them. They are even willing to take on
the tedious work that no one else wants to do in
order to be a team player.

3. They are willing to fail in order to
eventually succeed

All successful people know
that it doesn’t come easy and they are bound to
fail more than they will succeed at anything. They
are willing to learn from each failure, as it will
help them make better decisions that lead to
success later. While many people give up after
failing at something, a successful person will
persevere.

4. They know that they make their own luck.

Luck is derived from hard work over time and
positioning yourself for success. You won’t
randomly get lucky and successful people know
that. They will do at least one thing every single
day to put themselves in a better position to get
lucky and then use that luck to grow.

5. They set real goals that they can accomplish.

successful people wake up and they’ve already
planned their day, while unsuccessful people are
scrambling to figure out what they need to do
next. Their goals are very focused, big yet
obtainable and are aligned to their strengths.
They know what they are capable of and will
invest all of their efforts in it, avoiding their
weaknesses.

6. They take accountability for themselves and
their actions.

They aren’t relying on other people
in order to get the job done. Instead, they are
looking inwards and are trying to find the
solutions, while leveraging their current assets. If
they make a mistake, they own up to it and
immediately think of ways that they can improve
next time, not making the same mistake twice.

7. They make change instead of being affected
by it.

Successful people aren’t waiting around to
be affected by economic trends. They are the
ones who are creating the trends and making
things happen.

8. They are able to adjust to changes in the
marketplace.

 Successful people are willing to
reinvent themselves to stay relevant in the
business world. They understand that if you stay
stagnant and ignore trends, that you will be left
behind. They are constantly coming up with new
ideas, searching for the next big thing and getting
new skills.

9. They can communicate their story
effectively.

If you walk up to a successful person
and ask them what they do, they will able to tell
you everything in a concise manner. They know
who they are, what they do and can make you
believe in them. They have strong posture and
are very persuasive and confident.

10. They ask the right questions to the people
who can deliver the right answers.

 Successful
people know they need to solve problems by
tapping their networks. They aren’t afraid of
emailing or calling the best person who can
answer their questions. They are always prepared
with the right questions and are always willing to
help the other person out in return.

11. They are life-long learners who push
themselves out of their comfort zones.

 While
most people think that when they graduate
college, they are finished being a student,
successful people remain students. They are
constantly learning new things and have new
experiences. They aren’t afraid to try new
activities and to fail at them.

12. They know who they are and their place in
the world.

 Successful people are confident and
can lead themselves, as well as others. They have
their own vision and mission and seek to bring it
to life on a daily basis. They also know who they
aren’t and don’t waste time on things that they
aren’t good at or they aren’t satisfied with.

13. They are more excited about the journey
than the pay out.

 Successful people ignore get
rich quick schemes. They are more focused on
building sustainable careers through hard work,
risk taking and creativity. They enjoy the journey,
despite the obstacles, because they are doing
something that has meaning in their lives.

14. They create instead of just consume.

 While
most people are busy reading emails, watching
TV or listening to a podcast, successful people
are creating new tools, presentations and coming
up with ideas. They are the ones who are making
things that other people need instead of being on
the other end of the spectrum, consuming them.
